PaperSaver spray is used to neutralize acids in paper. It also adds an alkaline reserve to preserve against further age deterioration. Papersaver spray can increase the life of treated paper up to 3.5 times as compared to an untreated acidic document. Papersaver also buffers the paper from acidic transfer from the environment.
Aerosol cans are available for individual and small treatments. Larger containers of bulk PaperSaver liquid are available for repetitive deacidification. There is a pH pen available to check the acidity of documents. PaperSaver has no additive surfactants or UV light blockers.
