Humidity Indicator Cards
The Humidity Indicator Card provides a visual record for monitoring the relative humidity inside sealed containers and in the atmosphere. The indicator elements on the cards are nine separate small squares in a vertical line. Each one responds to humidity changes in 10% increments. The square turns color (pink to blue) to indicate the change in relative humidity. The accuracy of the card is +5% in each application. The indicators are water soluble and the card must not be placed in direct contact with water, steam or metals. High temperatures will also affect the accuracy of the humidity readings and in this case the humidity indicated will be lower than the actual relative humidity. The indicators are reversible, but we recommend that the cards be kept in a sealed container until use. The card is rectangular, 1½ inches by 4 inches. The edges of the card can be cut away leaving just the indicator strip, ¾" by 2¾".

Carusorb
Carusorb is used for the purification of air inside closed cases. It has two useful actions: First, it absorbs gaseous contaminants like formaldehyde and organic vapors, and secondly, the potassium permanganate oxidizes the contaminates to carbon dioxide and water. This eliminates the contaminants from the enclosed air. Carusorb also changes from purple to brown when it is used up and needing to be replaced.

Light Check Ultra LCU
	Incredibly easy to use, Light Check Ultra LCU is a light monitor strip that allows you to check the accumulation of exposure to light of any artifact. The color on the strip changes according to the amount of light it is exposed to, then compared to a calibrated chart to determine the light level. Can be checked daily, weekly, or monthly to monitor exposure levels.

Nytek Gloves
Solvent resistant gloves. They are 9 ml thick of premium nitrile rubber. They resist Stoddard's Solvent, VM&P Naphtha, alcohols, and most aqueous acid and alkali solutions. They are moderately resistant to toluene and xylene. Nytek gloves do not resist acetone and N, N dimethylformamide. The gloves are an extra long 35 cm., so that they may be "cuffed" Each pair of gloves is packed in a sealed poly bag for cleanliness. No talc or other powder is applied to the gloves to contaminate an artifact. Gripping areas have an anti-slip finish that does not trap dirt or other particulates.
